Thursday Gathering

This group, which was formed at the end of 1996, generally meets on the second and fourth Thursdays of each month, September to June. It is held in the Sunday School from 1.00-3.00p.m. with a small charge per person per meeting.

The purpose of the group is to provide an afternoon of fellowship & friendship for those who are lonely or housebound. Something different is planned for each afternoon. Depending on the weather, a delicious lunch is provided of soup or sandwiches, scones and cakes. Volunteer drivers from Chinley Chapel congregation provide the transport at all events.
